Cleveland Heights, through the Division of Government Television, operates its own cable access channel. Spectrum Cable Channel 1020 provides up-to-date information on meetings, events and activities in the city twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
City Council meetings, normally held the first and third Mondays of each month, are broadcast in their entirety, gavel-to-gavel, every day at 2 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 9 p.m. The exception is Monday, when there is no 9 p.m. broadcast. Also, watch for special programs, such as coverage of Memorial Day Ceremony, sports tournaments and other special events.
For those without cable television, DVD copies of most programs produced by the city are available at the main branch of the Cleveland Heights/University Heights Public Library approximately two weeks after the program begins airing on Channel 1020. DVD copies are also available to purchase for a nominal fee at City Hall. To place an order, call 216-291-5795 or email us.
